Table Top Coin Operated Machines
THUMBNAILDESCRIPTION
Ballys' Baffel ball from 1930. This is one of less than 5 examples known. 10 balls for a penny and it is fun!! This game is in the book For Amusement Only. Good color graphics!! I do not think it is a Bally game as mine says baffel ball inc. in Minnesota.
Coast vending basket ball gumball. My first coin op that started the whole craze for me. I have gone nuts because this is not a great item.
Filmascope Play basketball game from 1931. Nice looking penny arcade game. Actually the most common of all the old coin ops. Fun to play and nice to look at. On the cover of a magazine called the Merchandiser in 1931!!
Totalizer. 1940 penny game with great graphics. Name comes from the scoring mech which totals the score. 5 balls for a penny. Made by Pearson Engineering or Scientific Machines depends on who you ask. NICE looking game.
1929-31 ee jr. play basketball. The king of basketball gumball machines. There are three versions of this game. Two three shots and a two shot version. Tough to make a basket. Great looking game that is quite rare. Expensive.
EE jr. play basketball gumball basketball game. The first of the three different ee jr's. This one has marbles and probably not an original background. One of the classics.
Mike and Jake basketball game made by associated amusements in 1947. Also called basketball stars. I still need this one for my collection.
1947 Pitchem basketball table top game. Made by associated amusement in Texas. Hard to find game. As many table top games were this is basically a kicker catcher (hit and catch) game. Usually seen with a painted cabinet.
1929 Vest pocket basketball. This is a classic game that won lots of awards back in the olden days. Real decent to play and nice to look at too. These are out there but hard to find in real nice condition.
1950's Victor basketball gumball game. Kind of a copy of the coast machine but that's ok.
JF Frantz Long Shot. The most popular of these types of games is the football version called Kicker Catcher. These were made from the 30's up to the 60's. This one is stond cold mint. The only game in my collection I have not played.
1947 Champions ball flip game made by Champion Mfg. Co.. Nice looking game (all basketball games are nice looking).
The two shot version of the ee jr. gumball machine. Still need these gems.
1920's or 30's game that I do not know much about. One thing is that I do not own it and it looks old. Not that good looking of a game. I say that because I don't have it!!
1947 Victory Professional Basketball game. Ball flip game
